R&D is looking for skilled software developers

Would you like to develop and program some of the largest and most advanced control systems for the wind industry? And are you interested in systems design, controls and programming?

As a part of our Software department at R&D Test Systems, you will work with some of the most skilled developers within the Danish industry. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of different development tasks related to the design, development, and programming of control systems for industrial test benches.

We develop and deliver complete turnkey test systems to customers within the wind- and aerospace industry. Over the years, we have developed and delivered complete turnkey solutions for a wide range of large and internationally acclaimed companies.

Would you like to influence the control system for our next test bench?

In collaboration with customers and colleagues, you will be responsible for managing demanding and technically challenging development tasks, which also include commissioning and running-in of test systems - both at home and abroad.

Main assignments:
  • Develop user interfaces in C#
  • Design and implement new controls/components for use in future projects
  • Design and develop integrations between C# and e.g. Simulink or C++ compiled code.
  • Develop internal tools for a variety of tasks that will help us become more productive
  • Participate in the overall decision-making regarding software design and architecture
We expect that you:
  • Have an interest in user interface design and programming
  • Are versatile in the .NET environment
  • Have experience with the C#, WPF and/or UWP programming languages
  • Know of different design patterns and principles such as the S.O.L.I.D principles
  • Knowledge on how to design and implement reusable software
  • Are driven by a passion for problem solving and development, and thrive in a highly cooperative environment
  • Can work independently and/or in in larger teams across many professions
  • Not afraid to take charge and air your ideas

Furthermore, it will be a plus if you have experience with some of the following:

  • Have collaborated with colleagues on bigger software projects
  • Version Control Systems such as GIT or SVN
  • Knowledge about agile software development practices
  • Experience with other programming languages, tools and protocols, such as
    • C/C++
    • Java
    • Python
    • IoT
    • MQTT
    • XML
    • SQL
    • TCP/IP

You will be a part of our department in Aarhus, but you will also have the possibility of occasionally working from one of our other offices in Aalborg, Lindø or Berlin.
